University of York Campus
Campus is located in Heslington, right at York's historic center. The University has invested £750 million in the new Heslington East campus expansion which has seen the opening of seven new buildings, providing more world-class facilities for the 21st century York has been Northern England's spiritual capital for 2000 years, and is a city with a long history. York is a picturesque town located right on the river bank, and is home to many attractions, museums and galleries of the world. The city also has a modern feel with bars, clubs and live music venues to suit all tastes. University of York campus offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities that students can get involved in. The university has over 100 associations that covers every possible field of interest, and includes everything from sports, art and politics to the more unconventional, such as JuggleSoc, ChocSoc and Medieval Association.

The campus also offers a sports centre with two large sports halls, four squash courts, a dance studio and gym and a new sports village on the new Heslington East campus with an eight-lane 25m competition standard swimming pool, an 18 metre learner pool, fully floodlit competition size outdoor 3G football pitch, three outdoor 3G five-a-side pitches, a 120-station fitness suite with integrated TVs, three air-conditioned studios for classes such as spinning and yoga as well as spa facilities, including sauna and steam rooms. There are also facilities for a wide range of sports such as archery, badminton, basketball, hockey, judo, karate, netball, table tennis, trampoline and volleyball.
